Summer Flies Workshop – Yarntopia, Katy Tx

Mom and I are super lucky to have the opportunity to teach a class on Summer Flies at Yarntopia this month! Yarntopia is a really cute full service yarn shop in Katy, Tx. I have shopped there on several occasions and really enjoy the atmosphere and the great selection of yarn.

In the class we will create a “mini Summer Flies” (or a glorified swatch ) that contains all the stitches and techniques you will need to create the full size shawl. This is a 3 hour workshop with two 15 minute breaks. The cost is $45.00. Bring your own materials – size 8 needles, smooth, light colored worsted weight yarn, pencil and paper for note taking. Following the class we can help you select yarn for your project.
