Autumn Flutters

Autumn Flutters Shawl

As summer comes to an end and the first brisk breeze of autumn is in the air, this design will be a cozy reminder that summer has passed and chillier days are ahead. Autumn Flutters is an expanded variation of the Summer Flies Shawl. It was designed to incorporate the beautiful stitch patterns of  Summer Flies in a light fingering weight yarn that enhances the delicate lace butterflies and knotted openwork. With two sizes to choose from, you can create your very own Autumn Flutters to suit your individual style.

You don’t need to be a ravelry member for purchase! :)

I am not a member of Rav and don’t expect to be anytime. How can I purchase Autumn Flutters?

Does this pattern have written out instructions for the lace stitches?

Hi Sue! All of the stitches including the lace, are written out. I am not much of a chart person so it made more sense to me to just write it all out. I hope that helps you out!

I am not sure how to do the pleated ruffle. My question is after I do KCO6 do I knit them to put them on my right needle? Thank you for your help.

Purchased pattern as a download a few weeks ago. Making the larger shawl. Have about 800 yds of madelinetosh sock and would like to make the shawl deeper than 17″. Where is the best place to add sts and how do I compensate for the next section
