Can you please tell me how to pick up stiches from the long edge of the garter stitch in relation to picking up stitches from the case on edge? thx

This is a really good article on picking up stitches from knitty. http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter04/FEATwin04TT.html. The first 3 pictures are exactly how I picked the stitches on the long edge. Let me know if it doesn’t help! I will also post this link in the help section.

Thanks so much for the free pattern! I love the shape and the shell motifs. Not too late for a summer knit!

Hi Ladies,

Is there a way to enlarge summer flies? I understand knit a second repeat band. But how does that affect the counts in the following bands? Does that question make sense? I hope so.

Thanks for your pretty pattern!

I would like this pattern if someone could email this to me. I cannot get on to Ravelry for some reason. I have tried many avenues to no avail. The owner of a knit shop here will not share the pattern knowing I cannot get on to Ravelry. Thank you-Jane Phillips
